Hennessey Performance Open House - 7/30/11

When was the last time you saw 20,000+HP all under one roof?  Coming into the Hennessey Performance Open House, this past Saturday, I was greeted by, several of their 1000HP vehicles (at least 5), not to mention some of their other 600hp and 700hp packages vehicles.  

Their new Southern California facility was in pristine condition with an overwhelming feel of racing heritage and professionalism.  With an in house dyno, several install bays, comfortable waiting area, and halls decked with magazine coverage, vehicle features, speed and horsepower records, this shop is a must see for any vehicle enthusiast.

last leg: gR3: Scottsdale, AZ to Orange County, CA

Scottsdale to Cali was cake!  It was an amazing drive and the feeling of coming back to CA was enough to make time fly.  We were looking forward to the St. Regis, the Yacht Party, and some R&R.

By this time my camera was not in full swing anymore and I, unfortunately, drove the whole way and was unable to shoot as many pics as I would like.  Needless to say, the pictures here are enough to speak for the whole night.  DJ cokutt, Eternity Yacht, St. Regis Monarch Beach, and some amazing people.  You don't want to miss this next year!

Cars, Cards, and Cigars - Event coverage by TheAutoMod.com

TheAutoMod.com partnered up with Savini Forged Wheels to host the first event of this kind to be hosed at a wheel manufacturing facility.  Savini wheels has over 20,000 sq.ft. of space dedicated to producing high end wheels.  

Om May 21st, 2011 we invited members of the automotive community to join us for a car show, poker tournament, and cigar tasting provided by Padron Cigars

It was a great night full of exciting poker action, great cars, MODlyfe photo shoot, and live music....here are some shots from the event:

DC Performance HEMI/SRT8 DYNO Day, March 19th 2011

The roar of a 500+hp exhaust breaking into 140+ MPH is enough to give anyone a rush.  Thinking, feeling, hoping that massive horsepower has been achieved and there is yet another king of the hill on the HP chart.  This was the pure motivation to wake up on Saturday, March 19th. 

TheAutoMod had the great opportunity to visit Aaron @ DC Performance for a great day of horsepower demonstration and networking.  Upon my approach to DC Performance, I was waived up to the front where we got the best parking spot at the show.  Just as we got situated between a Corvette ZR-1 and a Twin Turbo V10 Viper, we hear the gradual acceleration of dyno spinning... meaning one thing, POWER!

Anyways, to make a long story short, there was about 25-30 cars that showed up while I was there.  I only got to see a few dyno runs, but none the less, it was awesome.  Aaron and the DC performance crew, put on a great show, showed excellent hospitality, and demonstrated their ability to build, test, tune, and show off amazing rides!  Big Thanks again to everyone at DC!
