Autos and Aviation: Lyon Air Museum 1/23/11

Lyon Air Museum, a World War II museum that houses some amazing aircraft, is proud to be hosting a meet at their facility, Sunday, January 23rd. The event houses a B17 bomber (think Memphis Belle), an A26 Invader and a C47 (think Band of Brothers) as well as several armored military vehicles and classic Automobiles. I have to give a big thank you to Craig Lieberman for making this happen.

We are trying to make our Events/ runs a little more unique and include something extra like.. Aviation .
And yes a run will follow!

Event hours are 9AM to 12PM. A portion of the proceeds will go to a local charity. Entry to the museum is being offered at a discounted rate (I think it's going to be $8-10). Tours of the museum will be hosted by Craig Lieberman himself!

Address: LYON AIR MUSEUM
19300 Ike Jones Road
Santa Ana, CA 92707

The event will also host a popular food truck, so there will be good food on hand. The Chomp Chomp Nation Truck!

The parking area will be exclusive to L4P show cars. The event is being promoted in local news publications, so only the exotics will be parked near the front. A local children's group will be coming to see the cars and the airplanes. Parking is tight here, so only the top 50 cars will be parked near the front.

Lyon Air Museum is adjacent to John Wayne Airport next to the Martin Aviation building. Although the access road says "Road Closed", it is not...the sign is an old sign just sitting there...we drive to the right of the sign.

Arrive before 9 if possible and the overspill of cars can park right across the street as there is another lot.
